Proper protection designed for MQB vehicles
The factory plastic undertray offers limited protection against impacts and road debris. The Aerocutt aluminium undertray replaces it with a strong, lightweight 3mm aluminium barrier beneath the engine.
Designed for compatible Volkswagen MQB applications, it helps protect the oil pan and other vulnerable underbody components without removing the factory engineering qualities.
Designed for accurate, straightforward fitment
This one piece undertray has been 3D modelled in CAD, CNC laser-cut and folded to follow the vehicle’s underbody and replicate the factory engineered profiles. It installs using factory mounting locations, with no drilling or permanent vehicle modifications required.
All required installation fasteners are included.
The important details
3 mm aluminium construction
Strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Built to provide substantially greater protection against road debris and underbody impacts than the factory plastic panel.
Optional textured black powder coat
Available with a textured black powder-coated finish designed to emulate the factory underbody appearance, giving the undertray a more OEM-style look and feel while providing a durable, easy-to-maintain surface.
Optional removable oil-drain access plate
An optional removable access plate allows routine oil draining with the undertray still fitted, saving the need to remove the complete panel at every oil change.
This is a particularly useful upgrade for daily drivers, frequently used street cars and vehicles covering higher annual kilometres that require more regular servicing.
Protection where it matters
Creates a solid aluminium barrier beneath the oil pan, subframe and surrounding underbody components. Particularly valuable for lowered vehicles or those in rough-road environments, where reduced ground clearance leaves these areas more exposed.
Ventilation without sacrificing protection
Strategically positioned ventilation assists with cooling while limiting the amount of dust, debris and road grime entering the engine bay from underneath.
Underbody airflow considered
The panel creates a cleaner underside and helps reduce unnecessary turbulence beneath the vehicle, supporting improved airflow and aerodynamic efficiency.
Factory mounting locations
Designed to use existing mounting points. No unnecessary drilling, cutting or permanent modifications to the vehicle are required.
