The Aerocutt Heritage Plate Adapter is an affordable solution for mounting Victorian heritage number plates to your vehicle. Designed for easy DIY installation and maximum adjustability, these brackets are available in a range of options to suit different heritage plate sizes, with universal fitment for most vehicles.
What’s Included:
• 1x pair of brackets
• Super low-profile black hardware to help maximise clearance and avoid rubbing or damage
• M6 bolts and M5-sized screws to suit a variety of factory vehicle mounting points
• Black nylon spacers/standoffs for a floating plate lookOptional security screws with a matching tool are also available for extra peace of mind.
Important – Please Check Before Purchasing:
Please measure the centre-to-centre hole spacing of your heritage plates and select the correct option when purchasing, as dimensions can vary. These adapters are designed to suit VicRoads-issued plates; however, some plate combinations have irregular bolt spacing.
To keep costs down and offer these adapters at an affordable price, the design uses straightforward mounting points without recessed hardware holes. Please carefully review the fitted photos, hardware positions and mounting points to determine whether you can achieve a suitable fit and adequate clearance on your vehicle.
Please also carefully check the hardware provided to ensure it includes what you need to mount the adapters to your car. The supplied hardware includes M6 bolts, M5-sized screws and nylon spacers/standoffs, but your vehicle’s mounting arrangement may require additional or alternative fasteners.
These adapters offer universal fitment for most vehicles, but suitability depends on your vehicle’s mounting arrangement and preferred plate position. We do not offer in-house installation, so please consider how you will fit them before ordering. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to contact us for advice.
